Ron V.’s Factory Five Type 65 Coupe in the Paint

In April of 2021, Ron Vigna from Virginia shared a build update on his Factory Five Type 65 Coupe #226. Ron graduated his Factory Five Type 65 Coupe October 29, 2021 and was featured on our website and social media.

Since his last update, he says, “I’ve driven the car 1500 miles since then AND LOVE IT. With help from a few good friends, we converted my garage into a decent spray booth and painted the car.”

Ron built his Coupe with a carbureted, aluminum head, BluePrint Engines 347, a TKO 600 transmission, and a Moser 8.8, 3.55, 3-link rear axle. Wheels are FFR Halibrand replicas 17 x 9 / 10.5. Tires are Nitto 555 G2 – 275/40 ZR17 and 315/35 ZR17.

Congratulations on finishing your beautiful car, and embodying a true Factory Five Family member getting the community involved in your build and sharing updates with us all. We can’t wait for your next update!
