The Bischoff Family are Ready to Start their Mk4 Build!
Customer Jim Bischoff from Billerica, MA has been dreaming of doing a Factory Five Roadster build for about 15 years, and today, he came to FFR with his daughter Katy to pick-up his Mk4 kit!

Katy and the Bischoff family surprised Jim with the Mk4 Roadster kit order as a surprise birthday gift this year! Jim is exited to get started, and Katy is looking forward to helping her dad with the build. The plan to install a 302 engine with a solid axle rear end, 3-link rear suspension, and 15″ Halibrand wheels. They’re still discussing some of the other details like the famous “What color do we paint it?” question, and they’ll be discussing that will getting started on the front and rear suspension.
And Factory Five is extending throughout the family as Jim’s brother Riley (pictured above in the middle) came to help load up the kit, and he ended up purchasing a ’33 Hot Rod kit! Riley is from Smithtown, NY, and looks forward to coming by later this summer to pick-up his ’33.
Also this morning, Greg S. from Lincoln, CA came by for a tour and to discuss his Mk4 Roadster build plans with the team. He’s looking to give the classic a modern twist, and is still ironing out the fine details before starting the build.
This morning was a fun start to the day as we get ready for the weekend!
