The Hiemstra’s Graduate their Type 65 Coupe Build!

Congratulations to Matt Hiemstra and his dad Sid from South Carolina on graduating their Type 65 Coupe build! They picked their Coupe kit up in March 2023, and the car was on the road shortly after Thanksgiving in 2024.

The Hiemstras built their Type 65 Coupe starting with the complete kit, Gen 3 Coyote with MT82 transmission, IRS with 13″ rear brakes, manual rack, platinum gauges, and A/C.

“This is the third car we’ve built,” wrote Matt. “Had a lot of fun building the Type 65 Coupe, and itching to do another. We’ve ordered a 30th Anniversary Mk5 Roadster!”
