Type 65 Coupe Highlighted in Ragtop Ramble & Crustacean Crawl Article
Factory Five President Dave Smith took part in the “Ragtop Ramble and Crustacean Crawl” the other week which was held by the New England Motor Press Association and is an annual event bringing several supercars and other vehicles to the Colony Hotel in Kennebunkport, ME. As coverage of the event begins to be published, the Factory Five stable of cars seem to be catching the eye of many of those who attended the event.
Driven.com’s Editor Jared Paul Stern recently posted that his favorite car from the event was the Factory Five Type 65 Coupe. “While there were Lambos, Bentleys and Rollses aplenty, the most beautiful one of the bunch was actually a kit car built right here in New England,” wrote Jared. “Factory Five Racing President David Smith piloted the impossibly pulchritudinous Type 65 Coupe.”
