Daily Updates from Factory Five on the Power Tour
The Factory Five crew powers through Texas, Oklahoma, Kansas this week on the 2016 Hot Rod Power Tour!
Here’s a daily report of the action on the road going back to the kick-off in Gonzales, Louisiana.
Day 7 – Kansas Speedway, Kansas City, Kansas
Day 6 – Kansas Pavilion in Wichita, Kansas
Day 5 – Remington Park in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma
The Factory Five booth featuring the 289 USRRC Replica, an Mk4 Roadster, the 818C Coupe, and ’33 Hot Rod.
You get to see and drive along with a ton of other cool cars on the Power Tour.

They’re driving about 100 miles today with temps possibly breaking 100*. Tony’s in the Mk4 Roadster followed by customer Erik T. in his 289 USRRC Replica.
Day 4 – Traders Village, Grand Prairie, Texas
Tony works to fix the transmission issues in the Mk4 Roadster.

The crew takes a much needed pit stop on this leg of the Power Tour as temps today approach 100*.
Day 3 – Circuit of the Americas in Austin, Texas
Day 2 – Royal Purple Raceway in Baytown, Texas
Day 1 – Lamar Dixon Expo Center in Gonzales, Louisiana
The Factory Five booth is starting to get a crowd of spectators.
Factory Five customers Ron E. and Garry Bopp joined FFR Tech Manager Tony Z. on the tour. They are available at each stop on the Power Tour to talk with customers.
Factory Five customer Erik Treves brought his 289 USRRC Replica on the tour and is documenting the trip on The Factory Five Forum.
The next generation of car builders like William here are checking out the 818 and the rest of the Factory Five fleet.
We’ve had some heavy rains during the Power Tour so far, but Scott “Honey Badger” Bell still gives a thumbs up even though he’s soaked after moving the Mk4 Roadster.
