We're Heading to Florida!

We’re heading south to Panama City, FL on November 9-14!  Join us and thousands of classic cars, hot rods, custom cars, and trucks in Panama City Beach for the week long Emerald Coast CruiZin’ show.  Along with the Factory Five team, you’ll also have a chance to meet former host of “PowerNation TV” Courtney Hansen, “All Girls Garage” Host Cristy Lee, and Factory Five All Girls Mk4 Roadster Build team member Jo Coddington.

Since not everyone can attend SEMA, we figured we’d take our SEMA cars to a cruise right after the big event in Las Vegas.  After we wrap things up at the 2015 SEMA Show, the Factory Five big rig heads east to Florida to attend the Emerald Coast Cruizin’!

We’ll be bringing the 20th Anniversary Special Edition Mk4 Roadster, the all-new 818C Coupe, our ’33 Hot Rod with Ford’s new IRS, a track-tested GTM Supercar built by customer John Kabacinski, and Dave Smith’s personal Type 65 Coupe for show attendees to check out.  The Factory Five team of Tony Zullo, Sally Bean, and Scotty “Honey Badger” Bell will be on hand Thursday through Saturday.  Sally is bringing a huge stock of all-new Factory Five apparel and goodies.  Customer Garry Bopp will be there helping out, and southeast region Factory Five customers are all invited to attend.  Factory Five Racing is the main stage sponsor, and Dave Smith will be at the show on Friday and Saturday.

We are looking forward to being back in the southeast region.  The last time Factory Five was in the area was for the 2013 Modified Mustangs and Fords Cruise-In (click here to read about that event) in Tampa.

Factory Five customer Garry Bopp (left) won “Best in Show” at the 2013 Modified Mustangs and Fords Cruise-In, and he will be helping at the Factory Five booth.

Bill B. Shares an Update on His Mk5 Build

After decades as a technician, engineer, and business owner—building companies, leading teams, and designing critical communications systems across New England—I decided at 50 to return to where it all started: a passion for cars. This MK5 Roadster is more than a project—it’s the first expression of a vision to create ultra-premium, one-off roadsters that blend classic design with modern performance and reliability. Factory Five Racing provided the perfect canvas. The MK5 isn’t just a kit—it’s a foundation that allows builders to bring something truly… Read More »
