Factory Five's Dave C.'s Track Adventure

A couple of weeks ago, we introduced you to some new employees here at Factory Five and we recently learned that one of them, shipping’s Dave Correia, won a trip to Leguna Seca for the 1st Annual Speed Dream Ride Event in April 2010.

During the five day event, Dave and four other winners got to ride along with Mario Andretti in a two-seater IndyCar, Kyle Petty in a NASCAR stock car, Jaon Pridmore on a two-up MotoGP sportbike, and Tanner Foust on a drifting course. And if riding along with these pros wasn’t exciting enough, the winners also got a chance to crush some cars in the black and green Monster Truck known as “Gravedigger.”

The event also featured a tour of the beautiful northern California countryside where the winners got to pilot a collection of supercars supplied by Word Class Driving.

Mk4 Customers Chris and Wendy D. Visit Factory Five

It was a pleasure to host Mk4 Chris and Wendy D. from Navarre. FL at Factory Five this week! Chris built a Mk4 Roadster the other year, and was also featured in Coastal Lifestyle Magazine. Westley B. Graduates his Type 65 Coupe Build!

Congratulations to Factory Five customer Westley B. from Virginia on graduating his Gen 3 Type 65 Coupe build! Westley received his Coupe kit in late Summer 2024, and said it was a fun journey. Westley installed a Scott Shafiroff 427ci small block Ford in his Type 65 Coupe along with options like hydraulic clutch, IRS, power steering, GPS vintage gauges, low back race vintage race seats, powder coated frame, Wilwood brakes, wipers, A/C-heater, side windows, front and rear sway bars, floormats, seat track, and polished side view mirror. Donny N. Builds Two Factory Fives

In 2020, customer Donny N. from Georgia started his Factory Five Mk4 Roadster build with his wife and kids. 4 years and 3 months later, they started work on their next Factory Five project, a Type 65 Coupe! “My first build was a MK4 Roadster powered by a Coyote Gen 2 with a TKO600, IRS, and Wilwood brakes,” wrote Donny N. “This time, I built a Type 65 Coupe with a Gen 3 Coyote, T56 transmission, IRS, and Wilwood brakes.” Check out this reel of Donny’s two Factory Five builds with his family.
