Factory Fives at the 2nd Annual Boston Cup

Sunday dawned dark and rainy, but by noon, the sun came out to make the 2nd Annual Boston Cup Collector Car Show a huge success.  This year, three Factory Fives were invited to this prestigious event.

Factory Five Joe M. brought his beautiful cranberry colored LS-powered GTM to join exotics like a Ferrari Challenge Car, a brand-new orange metallic McLaren, and other high-end supercars.

Factory Five customer Jack M. brought his award-winning Mk3 Roadster that was displayed alongside some of the best muscle cars of the sixties and Dave C. from Vintage Cars Online brought a very well built blue Type 65 Coupe.

The event was preceded by a cocktail reception at the Ritz Carlton on Saturday night where Factory Five marketing rep Sally Bean attended with customers Joe M. and his wife Debbie.

This year, we have made a real effort to attend local car events like the Patriot Place Cruise-Ins and this Boston Cup event.  On October 5th, we are opening our doors here at the factory to more than 100 New England car owners as part of the year-end Cape Cod Cruise.  Click here for more info.

From Track to Street: Ben F.’s Factory Five Challenge Car

For five years, Factory Five customer Ed Boothman and his team competed in the 25 Hours of Thunderhill in a modified Challenge Car. After the 2012 event, the car was retired, and eventually sold by Ed.
