2016 Kicks Off with a Great Show & Event Plan!

These are the car shows and special events that we will be attending as a company this year. We hope to see you at one of these events. Please note that our annual summer Open House is usually the second Saturday in June, but this year, it is the first Saturday, June 4th. Also, the show and event plan does can change slightly as the year goes by and we add events.

Mike & Rocky R.’S Coupe Strikes Detroit Autorama Gold

Factory Five Customers Mike and Rocky R. from Clinton Township, MI earned 1st Place in the Handbuilt Sports Class at the 73rd Detroit Autorama! Mike started his complete kit Coupe build about a year ago installed a 535 HP 363 SBF with a TKX transmission, Sniper 4150 EFI, Moser 8.8″ solid axle with 3.55 gears, 3-link rear rear suspension, Wilwood brakes, power steering, A/C, leather steering wheel, and American Racing wheels. Brian and Steve L. Take Their 289 USRRC Replica to the Next Level

It’s always fun talking with customers about their build plans. Some customers are trying to do a period-correct build where others are trying to do more of a modern take on a classic. Some builds go as far as trying to recreate a specific race car, and Brian and Steve L. took it a step further by not only recreating a famous 289 driven by Allen Grant, but they also built the truck to along with it so they could recreate a photo of Allen Grant and Dave Friedman! Terry L.’s Hot Rod Earns Top Custom Car

At Factory Five, we try to help customers build their car their way, and with the ’33 Hot Rod, there’s lots of ways to do just that. Customer Terry L. and his full fendered Gen 1 Factory Five ’33 Hot Rod coupe did just that by making modifications in order to install a 540ci Dart all aluminum big block with AFR 335 ported heads, Jesel shaft rockers, Jesel belt drive, and titanium valves.
