Huntington Beach Cruise-In Postponed Until April 2022

The global pandemic continues to affect us in many ways. Unfortunately, this year’s Huntington Beach Cruise-In which was scheduled for November 6th has now been rescheduled for Saturday, April 30th, 2022.

We were informed, at our most recent meeting before the City Council of Huntington Beach, that the middle block of Main Street will be closed to our car show to allow the restaurants in that area to have seating directly on Main Street (due to COVID). Although this was quite a surprise to hear at this late date, we completely understand why the City decided to permit this and we completely support those restaurants trying to stay in business thru this pandemic. Unfortunately this essentially splits the car show in two and that isn’t really tenable. The City agreed to a new date where we can have the entire 3 blocks and Pier Plaza.

Therefore, we are delaying the show yet again and the Huntington Beach Cruise-In has a new date of Saturday, April 30, 2022.

If you have registered for the Cruise-In, you can either rollover your registration to the new date or cancel your registration for a full refund.

The host hotel (Shorebreak Hotel) has agreed to transfer room reservations to the new date in April. You should be contacted by the hotel, but it would be good to contact them and make sure your reservations are cancelled and rebooked.

If you have any questions, you can contact the event coordinator Sally Bean at sally@factoryfive.com.

Thank you so much for your understanding, patience and flexibility during these very unusual times. We really are looking forward to celebrating the Huntington Beach Cruise-in the right way and look forward to April 2022, now two years after the original event was cancelled due to COVID. Thanks again!
