SEMA 2023 Day 1 Report!
The 2023 SEMA Show is off to a great start! This year, we brought customer Chris Hein’s amazing 8.5 second 1/4 mile ’33 Hot Rod, three new Factory Five XTF Trucks, and a beautiful Mk4 Roadster built by the crew at the Austin Hatcher Charity.
Reports from the floor say that this year’s SEMA Show is well attended, but not as crowded as previous years. The Factory Five booth is crowded with three massive trucks, each measuring 20′ long and 90″ wide! The crowds picked up in the afternoon, and some familiar faces stopped by to say hello including: Karen Salvaggio and Bill Cardoso from Scorpion EV, and Tommy Boshers and Pat Topolinski from RTM Productions/PowerNation. Kevin Byrd from Two Guys Garage stopped by to say hello and check out the new XTFs

Customer John Kabacinski built an off-road-ready, but still street legal XTF with custom graphics and a 750 HP supercharged 5.0L Coyote. Johnny used a 2021 Ford F-150 Larriat that requires some custom work (the XTF is engineered 2015-2020 F-150s).
The Factory Five crew brought an XTF with all carbon fiber, paint-free panels and powered by a supercharged 5.0L Coyote.
Above & Below: Nothing says SEMA like a Factory Five ’33 Hot Rod with 1,200 HP that runs mid 8’s in a 1/4 mile, and has both a parachute and a trailer hitch!
Factory Five engineer Jesper spent the day going over features of the new XTF Truck.
After 27 years, Factory Five is senior member of SEMA, so our booth location is one of the best, directly in front of the old Ford stage/display, between Holley and Edlebrock booths.
The fit and finish of the optional, paint-free carbon fiber panels on the XTF Truck are impressive.

Above & Below: Customer Erik Treves built his XTF super street truck with over 1,000 twin-turbo horsepower. The coolest thing about Erik’s XTF is that he DROVE it 1,800 miles from Alabama to the SEMA Show this year!
Above & Below: This year’s crowds on the first day seemed lighter than normal until you realize SEMA ADDED an entire new 300,000+ square foot building!
