Factory Five 30th Anniversary Open House Recap

Cloudy skies didn’t dampen the energy as we kicked off our 30th Anniversary Open House!
Factory Five started out with a dream, and 30 years later it’s still helping people build their dreams.

By 8:00 AM, staff and volunteers were busy setting up, including a special memory table filled with photos and memorabilia from across the decades.

Customer Jake W. helped with the setup!

By 9:00 AM, the air was thick with excitement and anticipation as customers rolled in and greeted each other with smiles. Ralph “The Energizer Bunny” Button arrived in his FFR with over 600,000 miles on it!

At 10:00 AM, the popular Scratch & Dent parts sale opened, followed by the big moment at 10:30 AM, when President Dave Smith unveiled the 30th Anniversary Carbon Coupe and customers swarmed in for a closer look!

At 11:00 AM, Dave led a factory tour, giving guests an inside look at how our cars are built.

Then at 12:00 PM, we wrapped things up with a heartfelt awards ceremony right before the rain, including the Robert Fedderson Memorial Award presented to Ron Everitt, honoring his years of dedication and support. Award-winners got their picture taken with Cristy Lee!

Brian and Steve L. Take Their 289 USRRC Replica to the Next Level

Terry L.’s Hot Rod Earns Top Custom Car

At Factory Five, we try to help customers build their car their way, and with the ’33 Hot Rod, there’s lots of ways to do just that. Customer Terry L. and his full fendered Gen 1 Factory Five ’33 Hot Rod coupe did just that by making modifications in order to install a 540ci Dart all aluminum big block with AFR 335 ported heads, Jesel shaft rockers, Jesel belt drive, and titanium valves.
