Factory Five SEMA 2025 Recap

SEMA 2025 has been a whirlwind! We’re finally settled back here in Wareham and want to share a recap of last week.

Our Anniversary Mk5 Roadster with the hard-top!

On SEMA Day 1 we kicked things off with our friends Joey Logano, BluePrint Engines, Ford Racing and more!

Our close friend and 3X NASCAR Champ, Joey Logano spoke with our engineers, Jim and Jesper in front of the Carbon-bodied Anniversary Coupe.
Builder and part-time Factory Five tech, Erik Treves spoke with many customers and fans in the booth at SEMA!

Our lineup included the carbon fiber-bodied Anniversary Coupe, the Austin Hatcher Coupe, the Red ’35 Hot Rod Truck, Blue ’33 Hot Rod, Mk5 demo car, and Mk5 Anniversary car! In short we had 2 coupes, 2 hot rods, and 2 Mk5s!

The Austin Hatcher Foundation has a tradition of unique Coupe builds, and this year’s was no exception.
The Red Hot Rod Truck was a huge hit at SEMA this year. It has a 2016 5.2L Voodoo engine out of a GT350.

Dave Smith was on hand for Day 2 of SEMA! Cristy Lee stopped by the booth midday, and Stacey David even got behind the wheel of the Mk5! He said, “Finally, a Cobra you can actually fit in!”

It’s always a great time with good friend, Cristy Lee at SEMA!
Speaking with “Gearz” host, Stacey David was awesome! He’s the perfect candidate for the Mk5 Roadster with his longer legs, and his fabrication work is incredible.
Our dear friend and painter, Jeff Kleiner from Indiana showed Stacey the Mk5 cockpit space.

Huge thanks to our amazing crew, partners like BluePrint Engines, friends at PowerNation and awesome customers for the conversation, laughs and good times – what an incredible week!

We love our friends at BluePrint Engines, and had some great conversation with James Clark on their team.

We also met up with Winners Circle Project as they interviewed former NASCAR driver, Ken Schrader in front of the Mk5 Anniversary Roadster! One of their schools, F.D.R High School had their completed Mk4 Roadster there in the Aces Fuel Injection booth.

Winners Circle Project was in attendance and interviewed former NASCAR Champion, Ken Schrader in front of the Mk5!
More good times catching up with the crew from Power Nation featuring Engine Power’s Pat Topolinski.

Day 3 at SEMA was also amazing! Huge shoutout to Johnny Kab for the awesome photos throughout the week. We’re so lucky to have amazing customers who stopped by to share their stories and catch up too!

Meeting with customers and swapping stories was the best part of SEMA!

Racexotics joined the booth and interviewed Maddi Gordon, (NHRA Top Alcohol Funny Car Driver), and we caught up with the Ohio Cobra Club, Mark Houlahan, and so many more incredible customers we call friends.

Racexotics interviewed NHRA funny car driver, Maddi Gordon in the Hot Rod Truck!
We also ran into friends from the Ohio Cobra Club at SEMA.
Mark Houlahan still owns his Factory Five Mk2 Roadster and is the Senior Copywriter at Speedway Motors, Inc.

The Hot Rod Truck, Austin Hatcher Coupe, Carbon-bodied Anniversary Coupe and Anniversary Mk5 stole the spotlight this SEMA Show. What an unforgettable week!

The carbon on the Coupe was striking under the lights at SEMA.

Bill B. Shares an Update on His Mk5 Build

Every build has a story—but some take a lifetime to begin. After decades as a technician, engineer, and business owner—building companies, leading teams, and designing critical communications systems across New England—I decided at 50 to return to where it all started: a passion for cars. That decision became Blue Hills Customs. This MK5 Roadster is more than a project—it’s the first expression of a vision to create ultra-premium, one-off roadsters that blend classic design with modern performance and reliability. Factory Five Racing provided the perfect canvas. The MK5 isn’t just a kit—it’s a foundation that allows builders to bring something truly… Read More »
