Customer John C. Starts his XTF Extreme Truck Build

One of the tech questions we get on the XTF Extreme Truck is how difficult is it to move the cab from the donor 2015-2020 F-150 Super Crew Cab chassis to the Factory Five chassis. We showed us doing it with Ian Johnson on his new TV Show Build for Off Road which aired the other week, and customer John C. from Flagstaff, AZ sent us these photos of him moving the cab onto the XTF chassis the other day.

“At first read in the manual, I thought the whole cab move process with the beams was a little sketchy,” wrote John. “After doing it, its not! Was easier than I thought. Did it by myself. Took my time. Worked safely. Totally doable. The chain, come-along, and my wife’s 4Runner anchor are what I use when there’s no help close by. Driveway has some slope. Hardest part is complete.”
