EV Hot Rod Truck Featured in Switch Vehicles SEMA Booth

There are so many cool builds and innovations on display at the SEMA Show, and it’s always fun to walk around and find a Factory Five being used to show off these projects. FFR Director of Engineering Jesper Ingerselv spotted this ’35 Hot Rod Truck EV build by Switch Vehicles.

Switch Vehicles runs a EV conversion training program called Make Mine Electric. The workshop helps to equip people with the skills and knowledge to convert your car into an EV going over topics like procurement, weight distribution, wiring harness creation, and choosing the correct motor and batteries for your build.

The Factory Five ’35 Hot Rod Truck EV conversion built by Switch Vehicles features a 144v nominal traction battery system with a 44 KW hours capacity, a Netgain Hyper 9 HV motor, Torque Trends torque box, and Moser rear end.
