Factory Five Customer Tom B. Graduates His Mk4 Roadster!

Factory Five customer Tom B. from Land O Lakes, FL sent us an e-mail the other day to let us know that he has officially completed his Mk4 Roadster build and graduated it on The Factory Five Forum!

“I wanted a hot rod that was vintage on the outside and new tech and performance on the inside,” wrote Tom, “and I think I’ve accomplished that.”

Tom went with an Mk4 Roadster base kit which he powers with a 5.0L Coyote. Some of the options Tom went with are the 3-link rear suspension, Wilwood brakes, chrome roll bars for both driver and passenger, and leather steering wheel. A stereo unit was installed behind the dash to keep it out of sight while the speakers are hidden in front of the shifter below the dash.

Westley B. Graduates his Type 65 Coupe Build!

Congratulations to Factory Five customer Westley B. from Virginia on graduating his Gen 3 Type 65 Coupe build! Westley received his Coupe kit in late Summer 2024, and said it was a fun journey. Westley installed a Scott Shafiroff 427ci small block Ford in his Type 65 Coupe along with options like hydraulic clutch, IRS, power steering, GPS vintage gauges, low back race vintage race seats, powder coated frame, Wilwood brakes, wipers, A/C-heater, side windows, front and rear sway bars, floormats, seat track, and polished side view mirror. Donny N. Builds Two Factory Fives

In 2020, customer Donny N. from Georgia started his Factory Five Mk4 Roadster build with his wife and kids. 4 years and 3 months later, they started work on their next Factory Five project, a Type 65 Coupe! “My first build was a MK4 Roadster powered by a Coyote Gen 2 with a TKO600, IRS, and Wilwood brakes,” wrote Donny N. “This time, I built a Type 65 Coupe with a Gen 3 Coyote, T56 transmission, IRS, and Wilwood brakes.” Check out this reel of Donny’s two Factory Five builds with his family.
