Factory Five July 4th Weekend Hours

We hope everyone enjoys their 4th of July weekend! Factory Five Racing will be closed Friday, July 4th to celebrate Independence Day. We will have a small crew on hand on Saturday, July 5th, for factory tours in the morning from 8 am to noon.

If you are in New England, we are at the “Cars of Summer” car show at Greenhill Park in Worcester, MA this weekend. While Friday looks like it might get rained out due to Hurricane Arthur, Saturday and Sunday look like perfect days for a car show. We have a great line-up of cars with our new 289 USRRC Roadster, the All-Women’s Build Mk4 Roadster built on the TV Show “Detroit Muscle”, our ’33 Hot Rod, our 818S, and Type 65 Coupe. Paul H. and his Mk4 Earn 2nd Place at Spokane Speed!

Customer Paul H. from Spokane, WA took home 2nd Place in the Handbuilt Sports Car Class at this year’s Spokane Speed and Custom Car Show! Paul purchased his Mk4 Roadster (chassis #9847) in June 2020, and built the car with his son after attending the Factory Five Build School at Mott Community College. They built the Mk4 with a 5.0 Coyote from a 2013 F150, Trememc 2650, IRS, 17″ Halibrand wheels, vinyl dash with glovebox, leather seats, and vintage gauges. Mk4 Customers Chris and Wendy D. Visit Factory Five

It was a pleasure to host Mk4 Chris and Wendy D. from Navarre. FL at Factory Five this week! Chris built a Mk4 Roadster the other year, and was also featured in Coastal Lifestyle Magazine. Westley B. Graduates his Type 65 Coupe Build!

Congratulations to Factory Five customer Westley B. from Virginia on graduating his Gen 3 Type 65 Coupe build! Westley received his Coupe kit in late Summer 2024, and said it was a fun journey. Westley installed a Scott Shafiroff 427ci small block Ford in his Type 65 Coupe along with options like hydraulic clutch, IRS, power steering, GPS vintage gauges, low back race vintage race seats, powder coated frame, Wilwood brakes, wipers, A/C-heater, side windows, front and rear sway bars, floormats, seat track, and polished side view mirror.
