Factory Fives Featured in 2012 Blue Water Show Detroit New Write-Up

Paul B. of Lake Orion, MI brough his Mk3 Roadster to the 2012 Blue Water Show and was interviewed by The Detroit News

During the summer season, we get a lot of fun stories and news from customers attending various car shows. Factory Five customer Paul B. e-mailed today about how during the 2012 Blue Water Car Show in Port Huron, MI, he was interview by a reporter for The Detroit Free Press. They spoke for about 10-15 minutes, and yesterday, The Detroit News posted the story on their website.

Brian W. of Port Huron, MI also attend the Blue Water Car Show and was featured on The Detroit News' website.

In the article, Paul discusses how he purchased the car in 2009 and spent two years finishing it. This is also Paul’s first time tackling a project like this.

Charles M. is Show Favorite with ’33 Hot Rod

Charles M. from Lakeland, FL purchased a built Factory Five ’33 Hot Rod in February 2026. This Hot Rod was built by a company in California that builds cars for movies and TV shows. It was sold at auction with the proceeds being donated to a charity. The auction winner then sold the car to Charles with 594 miles on it. Charles brought the Hot Rod to the 21st Annual Bay Life Car Show the other week which saw 675 cars attend.
