FFR ‘33 Earns Top 10 at Barrett-Jackson Northeast!

BestProducts.com named the Factory Five ’33 Hot Rod built by the crew at Tasca Ford as one of “The 10 Rarest and Fastest Cars Headed for Barrett-Jackson Northeast”!

The Tasca-built Hot Rod has been driven by Funny Car drag racer Bob Tasca and also John Force. The car has a supercharged 625 HP Ford Racing 5.0L engine. The car was shown at SEMA 2010 in the Ford Racing booth, and is now being auctioned at the 2016 Barrett-Jackson Northeast event. Click here to read the post from BestProducts.com.

Day 1 report from Barrett-Jackson is that they sold out the event with more 17,000 ticket sales! The impressive thing about that number is that it is on a Thursday and not on Friday or Saturday when the most traffic is expected.

Paul H. and his Mk4 Earn 2nd Place at Spokane Speed!

Customer Paul H. from Spokane, WA took home 2nd Place in the Handbuilt Sports Car Class at this year’s Spokane Speed and Custom Car Show! Paul purchased his Mk4 Roadster (chassis #9847) in June 2020, and built the car with his son after attending the Factory Five Build School at Mott Community College. They built the Mk4 with a 5.0 Coyote from a 2013 F150, Trememc 2650, IRS, 17″ Halibrand wheels, vinyl dash with glovebox, leather seats, and vintage gauges. It was a pleasure to host Mk4 Chris and Wendy D. from Navarre. FL at Factory Five this week! Chris built a Mk4 Roadster the other year, and was also featured in Coastal Lifestyle Magazine. Westley B. Graduates his Type 65 Coupe Build!

Congratulations to Factory Five customer Westley B. from Virginia on graduating his Gen 3 Type 65 Coupe build! Westley received his Coupe kit in late Summer 2024, and said it was a fun journey. Westley installed a Scott Shafiroff 427ci small block Ford in his Type 65 Coupe along with options like hydraulic clutch, IRS, power steering, GPS vintage gauges, low back race vintage race seats, powder coated frame, Wilwood brakes, wipers, A/C-heater, side windows, front and rear sway bars, floormats, seat track, and polished side view mirror.
