FFR Customer Karen Salvaggio, From Racing to Writing!

Factory Five customer Karen Salvaggio goes from racing Factory Fives to moto-journalism!

There’s not much that Karen hasn’t done on a track with her Factory Five Challenge Car and Type 65 Coupes. Last year, she won the Big Bore Class in her Gen 3 Type 65 Coupe with the vintage racers at SOVREN (Society of Vintage Racing ENthusiasts). She’s raced in the Factory Five Challenge Series going back more than a decade and everything in between including the 25 Hours of Thunderhill road race. Karen is a regular at Factory Five events like the London Cobra Show, SEMA, and the Huntington Beach Cruise-In. Now Karen has begun yet another adventure, this time in journalism (!) as she makes her editorial debut in the pages on ReinCarNation Magazine.

Karen’s article in the Spring 2018 issue of ReinCarNation highlights the contributions Factory Five replicas and others are making in the world of vintage racing. Check out ReinCarNation Magazine or come to the 2018 Huntington Beach Cruise-In to say hi as she will be managing registrations at the event and writing a story on the cruise-in at the same time.

Karen races on the west coast with other Factory Five customers like Tony Nadalin (#98 above).
