The Factory Five ’35 Hot Rod Truck is universally recognized for its unique combination of performance and style. Now that the full FFR Independent Rear Suspension has been engineered for the Hot Rod Truck. performance and style are joined by comfort and corner-carving competence!

The Hot Rod Truck can now be built with Factory Five’s premium Independent Rear Suspension. This is the same race-proven and street comfortable suspension that has been available on our Mk4 and Mk5 Roadsters, Type 65 Coupe, and ’33 Hot Rod. This new suspension option went into production this past August, and we have shipped seven (7) chassis so far to pre-arranged customers (the Winners Circle Project school program was given the first four).

Our Independent Rear Suspension (IRS) option is designed for those looking for the most comfort, agility, and performance. It includes a welded-in cage, upper and lower forged aluminum control arms, high-end KONI mono-tube rod-end coil-over shocks (matched to the fronts), and custom assembled axles and CV joints.  The IRS option for the ’35 Hot Rod Truck kit requires the 8.8” center section, rear spindles, and brakes from a 2015 or later Ford Mustang.
