Join Us in Indianapolis, PRI 2017

Join us next week, December 7-9, at the Performance Racing Industry show (PRI)! We will not be exhibiting at the show, but we will be guests of Ford Performance with our new Gen 3 Type 65 Coupe. Jesper, Jim, and Dave will be at the show on Friday, and the car will be in the Ford Performance booth. The car featured Ford’s mighty 5.2L Aluminator 52XS engine that makes 580 HP!

The Coupe will close out a very big year on a high note as it is featured in Ford’s booth at PRI.

The Ford booth at PRI is centrally located, and always have a TON of traffic.

In 2014, the Factory Five ’33 Hot Rod was featured in Ford’s booth at PRI.

NASCAR’s Joey Logano drove the Coupe in Snap On Tools’ “From the Ground Up” series and also drove the car on the season finale of “Fast N’ Loud.”

This year, the new Gen 3 Coupe scored a top 10 finish in the Tire Rack “Ultimate Track Car Challenge” and also won 5 of 7 races in NASA’s ST2 class in 2017.

Paul H. and his Mk4 Earn 2nd Place at Spokane Speed!

Customer Paul H. from Spokane, WA took home 2nd Place in the Handbuilt Sports Car Class at this year’s Spokane Speed and Custom Car Show! Paul purchased his Mk4 Roadster (chassis #9847) in June 2020, and built the car with his son after attending the Factory Five Build School at Mott Community College. They built the Mk4 with a 5.0 Coyote from a 2013 F150, Trememc 2650, IRS, 17″ Halibrand wheels, vinyl dash with glovebox, leather seats, and vintage gauges. Mk4 Customers Chris and Wendy D. Visit Factory Five

It was a pleasure to host Mk4 Chris and Wendy D. from Navarre. FL at Factory Five this week! Chris built a Mk4 Roadster the other year, and was also featured in Coastal Lifestyle Magazine. Westley B. Graduates his Type 65 Coupe Build!

Congratulations to Factory Five customer Westley B. from Virginia on graduating his Gen 3 Type 65 Coupe build! Westley received his Coupe kit in late Summer 2024, and said it was a fun journey. Westley installed a Scott Shafiroff 427ci small block Ford in his Type 65 Coupe along with options like hydraulic clutch, IRS, power steering, GPS vintage gauges, low back race vintage race seats, powder coated frame, Wilwood brakes, wipers, A/C-heater, side windows, front and rear sway bars, floormats, seat track, and polished side view mirror.
