Josh & Wendy M. Pick-up Their Anniversary Mk5 Roadster!

Congratulations to Josh M. and his wife, Wendy, on picking up their Mk5 30th Anniversary Roadster kit this morning! The couple made the trip all the way from St. Augustine, Florida, and Josh has big plans to power his Mk5 with a BluePrint 347 and a 5-speed.

Pickup day smiles were in full effect, but these two have had quite the journey to get here. Work has taken them from Florida to Philadelphia for a week, then up to Factory Five to grab their kit, and next they’re heading straight to London, Ohio!

We’ll be thinking of Josh and Wendy as they continue their travels and can’t wait to follow along as their Anniversary build takes shape. Huge thanks to Brent and Matt for loading them up and to Travis for giving them the tour. Safe travels, Josh and Wendy!

Congratulations to customer Mark S. on graduating his Mk4 Roadster build! Mark came for a tour of Factory Five in March 2020 to meet Dave Smith and the team. After returning home to the United Kingdom, Mark ordered his Mk4, and it arrived at his garage in February 2021.  Marks good friend, neighbor, and fellow car enthusiast, Stuart H, helpedwith the build which featured a Gen 3 5.0L Coyote, Tremec TKO transmission, 8.8″ solid axle with 3-link rear suspension, 18″ Halibrand wheels, and of course, it had to be in right hand drive. I made the call to scrub FFR operations for the day. The drive in wasn’t bad, and most roads are clear. Unfortunately our plow crew was late, and the day dawned with 3-4′ drifts in the back parking lot! We will be at work and at full strength tomorrow. Sorry for any difficulties this may cause.
