Kindness Comes Full Circle: Keith & Cody’s Factory Five Story

Every now and then, a story reminds us why the Factory Five community is so special. It’s not just about the cars we build, but the people who build them.

Keith and his stepson, Cody, recently experienced a moment that perfectly captures what Factory Five is all about: generosity, craftsmanship, and building –whether it’s cars, friendships, or helping someone in need.

It began when a Factory Five owner lost the front end of his unassembled Type 65 Coupe kit while trailering it. Instead of driving by, Keith and Cody stepped in to recover and return the parts safely. Keith reflected, “We were more blessed than we could have ever imagined by not doing the easy thing and just saying, ‘Oh well, that’s tough for someone, but not us.’ So many people would do that, but we didn’t.”

A few days later, a surprise package from Factory Five arrived, filled with shirts and stickers. Then another box: a Factory Five Roadster front end wall-art, one of Keith’s all-time favorite cars!

Now, Keith and Cody are turning it into a one-of-a-kind garage display, complete with slicks, polished fittings, and a few creative touches of their own. Beyond the build, they’re using the experience as a lesson in integrity.

“I’m raising a stepson,” Keith shared. “I want to lead and teach him how to be a good man in this world. Even when it seems like it doesn’t matter anymore, it always matters.”

Stories like Keith and Cody’s remind us that Factory Five isn’t just about building cars. It’s about building community.
