Lou P. Visits Factory Five to Talk New Setup for His 8.28-Second Drag Coupe

You know Lou P. by his drag-racing Coupe video that raced 8.28 seconds and reached millions of people online! He came out to Factory Five from Ontario to visit and to get a new rear hatch glass for his Coupe. Hear his story about his new engine and setup and what his plans are for racing his Coupe going forward!

What started with a twin-turbo Ford Motorsports short block and high-port heads has evolved. Now Lou is running a single turbo, a Rossler Turbo 400 trans, 8.8 rear end, and a four-link out back. He’s convinced this is the recipe for even more success! We can’t wait to hear more about Lou’s adventures with his Coupe on and off the track.

Donny N. Builds Two Factory Fives

In 2020, customer Donny N. from Georgia started his Factory Five Mk4 Roadster build with his wife and kids. 4 years and 3 months later, they started work on their next Factory Five project, a Type 65 Coupe! “My first build was a MK4 Roadster powered by a Coyote Gen 2 with a TKO600, IRS, and Wilwood brakes,” wrote Donny N. “This time, I built a Type 65 Coupe with a Gen 3 Coyote, T56 transmission, IRS, and Wilwood brakes.” Check out this reel of Donny’s two Factory Five builds with his family.

Factory Fives Take 1st & 2nd at Chicago World of Wheels!

Factory Five customers Jason H. and Pat S. were awarded 1st and 2nd Place at the World of Wheels Chicago event this year!
