Progress Being Made on 5.0L Coyote Install Kit

Install Kits for Mk4 and ’33 Hot Rod Near Completion

A lot of guys have been asking us for install kits and instructions on putting Ford’s 5.0L Coyote engine into either a Mk4 Roadster or ’33 Hot Rod. We installed a 5.0L Coyote into a Hot Rod last fall on HorsePower TV and just recently we dropped the new engine into our red Mk4.

The longest lead time part has been the headers and the good guys at BBK are manufacturing headers dedicated for both the ’33 Hot Rod and Mk4 Roadster. Jesper in engineering fit the first articles last week and it should be 6-8 weeks before we get production parts. The attached DRAFT install procedure if for the Mk4 Roadster and is for informational/background purposes only. We have a number of customers currently installing these engines and we want to make sure our install kit is easy to incorporate.

Note: This is a DRAFT DOCUMENT. For example, we have already tested and installed a LOKAR pedal in place of the modified Mustang throttle pedal mentioned in this procedure. This document is to give you an idea of where we are in the process of developing the 5.0L Coyote install kit.
