Rad Canadian Rod Rips Mid-11 Second 1/4 Mile

Customer Chris H. from Weyburn, Saskatchewan built this nasty 6.0L Chevy-powered Factory Five ‘33 coupe in his garage. He built the car from the frame up, did the body & paint himself, and now he drives it on the street and takes it to the strip for fun.

”I just finished my ‘33 hot rod build last month. Two trips to the drag strip and 1,500 miles in three weeks! Entire car was built in my garage. I did the paint and body myself. It was the first time I have painted anything. The engine is a 6.0L LQ4 bottom end with an LS3 top end and FI Tech fuel injection with March Performance accessory drive. I’m currently running a 4L60E with Moser 8.8 rear. Engine makes about 500 HP. The car ran a best of 11.65 @ 115 mph on Nitto NT05 285/35R18 tires.” – Chris H.

Chris put in some nice custom touches as well like electric door poppers for convenience. A lot of customers opt for the rear exit exhaust, but Chris kept his exhaust low profile with the side exhaust visible.

From everyone at Factory Five, nice job Chris!
