SEMA Magazine Takes a Look Back

This month’s March issue of SEMA News has a really cool look back article on the original California Kid Hot Rod.

On the side of a California road is Pete Chapouris and the very famous ’34 Ford three window during the filming of The California Kid. Next to Pete is a young Martin Sheen, who 40 years later would be the father of a man with Adonis looks and tiger blood (that is indeed a sad joke).

The car is just so cool I had to share the photo.

Peter D. Graduates Mk5 Build for Son Scott’s Wedding

Factory Five customer Peter D. from Pfafftown, NC and his son Scott started to put thier Mk5 Roadster plans together early in Fall 2025. The submitted their order in mid-October 2025 with the kit arriving in mid-December.
