“It’s Down to Us America!” Features West Philly High’s TDI-Powered GTM

Talk about real-world technology transfer!

Simon Hauger and the team from West Philly High School are showcased by Newsweek with their TDI-powered GTM that earned 1st place at the Green Grand Prix and was a finalist in the X-Prize competition. The story is titled “It’s Down to Us America!” saying that innovation and technology have to come from the populace.

Terry L.’s Hot Rod Earns Top Custom Car

At Factory Five, we try to help customers build their car their way, and with the ’33 Hot Rod, there’s lots of ways to do just that. Customer Terry L. and his full fendered Gen 1 Factory Five ’33 Hot Rod coupe did just that by making modifications in order to install a 540ci Dart all aluminum big block with AFR 335 ported heads, Jesel shaft rockers, Jesel belt drive, and titanium valves.
