FFR Customer Ray McEdwards Sends in the Report

Factory Five customer Ray McEdwards sent us an e-mail letting us know that two Factory Fives won at the Fourth Annual Madera Glass & Body Gold Cup Car Show. Here’s is what Ray wrote us:

“I attended the Fourth Annual Madera Glass & Body Gold Cup Car Show. FFR was well represented (3-Roadsters) the banner you gave me at HB-2010 and one I had printed. The red car is, I think, a Backdraft with a SBC. Jim Bandy (the silver/black Roadster) took 1st in class. It was his first, 1st place finish and couldn’t have happened to a nicer guy. Jim has always been there for me, helping out and has traveled with me to help out other builders. I took a 3rd in class (2nd went to an ’87 Porsche.) The blue car with white stripes is Larry’s (he dropped a 429-SCJ motor in that.)”

Ron L. Graduates His Type 65 Coupe Build!

Congratulations to customer Ron L. from Port St. Lucie, FL on completing his third Factory Five build – a Gen 3 Type 65 Coupe! Ron has previously built a Mk4 Roadster and a ’35 Hot Rod Truck. He took deliver of his Type 65 Coupe kit in October 2024, and post on The Factory Five Forum this past August that he was ready to graduate his build. The Bostrom’s Mk4 Shines at First Car Show!

“This is a lifetime dream come true for me!” John exclaims as he shares the news of graduating Mk4 Roadster build and attending his first car show with the completed car earlier this month.
