2022 St. Jude Mk4 Charity Build

Visit St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital in Memphis, TN and you will become a life long supporter of these amazing people who bring hope to so many parents of children with cancer.

We began supporting St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital annually by donating a kit to the Pilots of FedEx for a charity build. This year was our eighth year and eighth kit donated. The Factory Five Mk4 Roadster auctioned off was built by Ron Everett, Mike Bray and their team of FedEx Pilots. The Pilots of FedEx set a record for fundraising this year, raising a winning bid of $150,000 at St. Jude Memphis JAM Gala Auction. All money goes to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital.

Paul H. and his Mk4 Earn 2nd Place at Spokane Speed!

Customer Paul H. from Spokane, WA took home 2nd Place in the Handbuilt Sports Car Class at this year’s Spokane Speed and Custom Car Show! Paul purchased his Mk4 Roadster (chassis #9847) in June 2020, and built the car with his son after attending the Factory Five Build School at Mott Community College. They built the Mk4 with a 5.0 Coyote from a 2013 F150, Trememc 2650, IRS, 17″ Halibrand wheels, vinyl dash with glovebox, leather seats, and vintage gauges. Mk4 Customers Chris and Wendy D. Visit Factory Five

It was a pleasure to host Mk4 Chris and Wendy D. from Navarre. FL at Factory Five this week! Chris built a Mk4 Roadster the other year, and was also featured in Coastal Lifestyle Magazine. Westley B. Graduates his Type 65 Coupe Build!

Congratulations to Factory Five customer Westley B. from Virginia on graduating his Gen 3 Type 65 Coupe build! Westley received his Coupe kit in late Summer 2024, and said it was a fun journey. Westley installed a Scott Shafiroff 427ci small block Ford in his Type 65 Coupe along with options like hydraulic clutch, IRS, power steering, GPS vintage gauges, low back race vintage race seats, powder coated frame, Wilwood brakes, wipers, A/C-heater, side windows, front and rear sway bars, floormats, seat track, and polished side view mirror.
