Charles M. is Show Favorite with ’33 Hot Rod
Charles M. from Lakeland, FL purchased a built Factory Five ’33 Hot Rod in February 2026. This Hot Rod was built by a company in California that builds cars for movies and TV shows. It was sold at auction with the proceeds being donated to a charity. The auction winner then sold the car to Charles with 594 miles on it.

Charles brought the Hot Rod to the 21st Annual Bay Life Car Show the other week which saw 675 cars attend. As the car show awards were being handed out, Charles was presented with the Show Favorite award! The car had previously been awarded Best in Show at SEMA, and featured in both Hot Rod and Car and Driver Magazine.

Charles’ Factory Five ’33 Hot Rod was built with a 361 HP 302 crate engine, 650 CFM Holly carburetor, Tremec 5-speed transmission, KONI coil-over shocks, solid axle rear end, and Wilwood brakes. The body is painted a custom two-tone with Charcoal Gray and burnt Orange.

Charles has been displaying his Factory Five Hot Rod at car shows throughout Florida including his first one in Bartow, FL. He has another one he plans to attend this weekend.
