Canadian Customers Made a Strong Showing at FFR This Weekend!

The week ends with strong representation from our Canadian customers! From Montreal, Gilles L. and his wife made the trip to Wareham to pick up their Mk4 Roadster kit yesterday. Today, Coupe-R owner and Ontario resident Kirk M. drove the distance to visit, check brake measurements and score a set of 18” Halibrand wheels for his Coupe. Dave Smith gave him an additional 18″ Halibrand rim for free since he made the long 10 hour drive! Now he’s got a spare for the rear deck or a new rim in reserve in case of curb rash. Last, but not least, Jason R. and his wife, who are currently building their FFR ’35 Hot Rod Truck, stopped in to grab a grille for their project and catch up with the crew.

Today is just a small snapshot of the larger and growing FFR customer community in Canada!

Paul H. and his Mk4 Earn 2nd Place at Spokane Speed!

Customer Paul H. from Spokane, WA took home 2nd Place in the Handbuilt Sports Car Class at this year’s Spokane Speed and Custom Car Show! Paul purchased his Mk4 Roadster (chassis #9847) in June 2020, and built the car with his son after attending the Factory Five Build School at Mott Community College. They built the Mk4 with a 5.0 Coyote from a 2013 F150, Trememc 2650, IRS, 17″ Halibrand wheels, vinyl dash with glovebox, leather seats, and vintage gauges. Mk4 Customers Chris and Wendy D. Visit Factory Five

It was a pleasure to host Mk4 Chris and Wendy D. from Navarre. FL at Factory Five this week! Chris built a Mk4 Roadster the other year, and was also featured in Coastal Lifestyle Magazine. Westley B. Graduates his Type 65 Coupe Build!

Congratulations to Factory Five customer Westley B. from Virginia on graduating his Gen 3 Type 65 Coupe build! Westley received his Coupe kit in late Summer 2024, and said it was a fun journey. Westley installed a Scott Shafiroff 427ci small block Ford in his Type 65 Coupe along with options like hydraulic clutch, IRS, power steering, GPS vintage gauges, low back race vintage race seats, powder coated frame, Wilwood brakes, wipers, A/C-heater, side windows, front and rear sway bars, floormats, seat track, and polished side view mirror.
