Jason P.’s Factory Five Mk4 Roadster Graduates!

Jason P., from Ontario, Canada, picked up his Factory Five kit in July 2023 and started his build in January 2024.

With a clear vision in mind, he installed a Coyote engine, Tremec TKX 5-speed transmission, and 4-link suspension, building his dream car from the ground up. The finishing touch? A stunning GM Son of a Gun metallic grey paint with black stripes, done in his own shop. Jason says, “This thing is a rocket ship!”

When we asked what advice he had for fellow builders, Jason encourages them make their car their own: “You don’t need to stay traditional with colors or details. I had this exact car pictured in my mind for years. Take your time, enjoy the process, and drive it.”

Unfortunately our plow crew was late, and the day dawned with 3-4′ drifts in the back parking lot! We will be at work and at full strength tomorrow. Sorry for any difficulties this may cause. Three Generations Embark on a Type 65 Coupe Dream Build

Dave Ryan’s Type 65 Coupe build is moving right along—and it’s become something even bigger along the way. In collaboration with Factory Five Racing, V6 Media is producing a short film documenting the build process.
