John P.’s Factory Five Mk3 Roadster

John Petri an Untied States Marine Corps veteran has been following Factory Five Racing for many years and always dreamed of owning a Roadster. Being a disabled veteran and with his current career he feared that he would not be able to complete a build. To not let summers pass him by he found a car that was meticulously cared for and purchased it in March 2021.

His Factory Five MkIII Roadster arrived with 1,900 miles on it, and in two short Minnesota driving seasons John has turned the odometer to 4,600 miles. John loves to take his family on rides, cruising with friends, and attend many car shows.

John was able to join the Factory Five Team for a special event where Army Veteran Travis Mills spoke to the group about his life and how he has motivated himself and others to achieve their goals.

John’s next goal is to own a 65 Coupe with the same color scheme as his roadster.

Unfortunately our plow crew was late, and the day dawned with 3-4′ drifts in the back parking lot! We will be at work and at full strength tomorrow. Sorry for any difficulties this may cause. Three Generations Embark on a Type 65 Coupe Dream Build

Dave Ryan’s Type 65 Coupe build is moving right along—and it’s become something even bigger along the way. Recently, Dave’s father, Vaun Ryan, sat down to share his lifelong passion for performance cars and motorcycles—sparked as a young boy on the family farm in Utah, building a homemade go-kart powered by a hay-elevator motor.
