Join Us at Barrett-Jackson Scottsdale, 1/12-1/20

The Factory Five crew is already set-up and excited for the huge annual Barrett-Jackson car auction in Scottsdale, AZ. This year, we have four main areas where Factory Five stuff is happening!

1. The Factory Five truck is set-up in the vendors mid-way leading to the auction. In this display, we have some great cars including Jeff Moore’s white ’35 Hot Rod Truck that debuted at SEMA, two customer Mk4 Roadsters, Freddy S.’s “Battle of the Builder” ’35 Hot Rod Truck that debuted at SEMA, the 2nd Gen ’33 Hot Rod chassis, and a stunning customer-built Factory Five ’33 Hot Rod.

2. In the Restoration Alley, the Factory Five crew and customers are building a Barrett-Jackson Edition ’35 Hot Rod Truck LIVE during the show!

3. Factory Five builder Chris Reylea from FormaCars brought out two Mk4 Roadsters, an 818S, and a beautiful Factory Five Type 65 Coupe.

4. This year, there are five Factory Fives in the Barrett-Jackson auction including two customer-built GTMs, the Barrett-Jackson Special Edition Truck #001, a customer-built red Mk4 Roadster, and the Factory Five Type 65 Coupe that was built at SEMA 2018 and drifted in the Ford Out Front Area!


The Special Edition Barrett-Jackson Shop Truck #001 is heading across the auction block on Sunday, January 20th, the last day out the auction!


This customer-built GTM (Lot #850) has an massive LS7 engine and a dramatic paint job.


This beautiful white GTM (Lot #814) earned Best in Show at Huntington Beach, and was featured in the Factory Five display 2017.


The Factory Five Type 65 Coupe that was built during SEMA 2018 is going across the auction block as Lot #782.

Above & Below: In the Barrett-Jackson Restoration Alley area, we are building a Special Edition Barrett-Jackson Pick-Up Truck! We will start with the bare frame, and end the event with a completed, driving ’35 Hot Rod Truck.


The weather looks beautiful, the tent is up, and the Factory Five crew is excited!

Rob M. Reaches First Start Milestone!

There’s many milestones when building a Factory Five including getting the kit in your garage, making it a roller, engine install, and of course, graduating the build. Charles M. is Show Favorite with ’33 Hot Rod

Charles M. from Lakeland, FL purchased a built Factory Five ’33 Hot Rod in February 2026. This Hot Rod was built by a company in California that builds cars for movies and TV shows. It was sold at auction with the proceeds being donated to a charity. The auction winner then sold the car to Charles with 594 miles on it. Charles brought the Hot Rod to the 21st Annual Bay Life Car Show the other week which saw 675 cars attend. Dark Horse Racing Earns Podium at Historic Indianapolis Motor Speedway

Congratulations to Brion G. and Dark Horse Racing on earning a 2nd place finish with their Factory Five Type 65 Coupe-R in the GT class in the Trans Am Championship this past weekend.
