Kevin C.’s 25th Anniversary Mk4 Roadster

Customer Kevin C. received his Factory Five Racing 25th Anniversary Mk4 Roadster kit on November 2, 2019, marking the start of a rewarding build process.

Kevin ordered the kit in September 2019, and by July of 2021 Kevin completed and registered his Mk4 Roadster!

Kevin’s anniversary kit key features include Dart SHP-427 block engine with AFR heads and Weiand Stealth intake dressed with 427 Ford racing valve covers, adding to its allure. It has a Holley in-tank fuel system, Edelbrock RPM Performer 2281 cam and Holley Sniper fuel injection, Protronics II ignition and Ram clutch, Tremec TKO-600 5-speed with .68 OD transmission, IRS with 3.55 gears, and KRC power steering and Wilwood manual brakes.

His bronze chassis with satin black aluminum foot-box panels, 13″ Wilwood brakes and bronze 18″ wheels. The interior boasts anniversary GPS gauges, leather seats, and badges. The car has IRS with front and rear sway bars, Koni double-adjustable coil-over shocks, stainless steel exhaust, bumper kit, sun visors, wind wings, and a carbon fiber dash.

The car’s expert paintwork is by Jeff (Da Bat) Miller of Miller Customs. The Roadster is adorned in 2008 Mustang RedFire Pearl with vivid red stripes, and complemented by 2010 GM Cobra/Gold accents.

Kevin didn’t stop at the basics. He added several features for comfort and functionality such as the Vintage air heater, heated seats, Rostra cruise control, adjustable seats, passenger side roll bar, Breeze Automotive side mirrors, and added a drop trunk. Kevin’s car has USB chargers and Boss Marine Grade BT radio (MCKGB350B.6) with two 6″ speakers. For added convenience, the roadster wiper kit, Forte’s mechanical throttle linkage, and a Factory Five soft top from DTS.

From its carefully chosen components to the handcrafted drivetrain and stunning paint job, every aspect of Kevin’s build reflects his style, dedication, skill, and passion for the art of car building.
