Peter H. Graduates ’33 Hot Rod, Wins ‘Best of Show’ & Starts ’35 Truck Project!

Looking for the perfect winter build to turn into your future Sunday cruiser? Look no further! Peter H. from Michigan turned his Factory Five ’33 Hot Rod into the ultimate Sunday cruiser, winning ‘Best of Show‘ at a local car event.

After putting 1,400 miles on his car and showcasing it at the NSRA event in Kalamazoo, Peter reflected: “What I’ve really learned is that you need to build the car to satisfy your own vision and desire. Going to shows, driving the car, and the whole experience has taught me to appreciate the chance to learn and create something I’m truly happy with. It’s great when others enjoy it too, but that’s just a nice bonus.”

Congratulations, Peter, on completing your build and showcasing your incredible craftsmanship!

Peter’s Factory Five ’35 Hot Rod Truck has officially taken over the garage, and he’s already planning an incredible build to match the craftsmanship of his ’33 Hot Rod.

While the color is still to be decided, Peter is leaning toward a sibling design with Red Velvet paint, black fenders, and a black roof. He’s outfitted the truck with Factory Five options like full fenders, Wilwood brakes, an LS engine, automatic transmission, power steering, and an aluminum bed kit. Planned customizations include a Holley Terminator Max, Dakota Digital gauges, a custom dash, center console, and rear exit exhaust, among other interior and exterior upgrades.

Peter plans to document the journey with updates on social media and a detailed build thread on The Factory Five Forum. We can’t wait to see his exciting project come to life!
