Phil D. Graduates His Beautiful Mk4 Roadster

Congratuatlions to customer Phil D. from Temple, TX on graduating his Mk4 Roadster build! Phil built his Roadster with a BluePrint Engines 427 crate motor, IRS, and his good friend helped with a custom wood dash.

“A friend of mine is a good woodworker,” wrote Phil. “They did the panel for me, and that particular wood is called Tiger wood which is from Brazil. I used the two part epoxy that you see on bar tables  as the finish for all the wood in the car.”

“I had the car in the go kart stage after one year of building,” Phil continued. “The painting of the car is British Racing Green, and was done out in my driveway with an inflatable paint booth. Presently the car has almost 2,300 miles on it.”

Congrats again on a fantastic build, Phil! We’re so happy you enjoyed the project, and are now out there driving it!
