SEMA Preview 7 of 10: 25th Anniversary Mk4 Roadster

Next year is our 25th Anniversary, and so we built simply the best Factory Five Mk4 Roadster we could build to celebrate this huge milestone. The car is on it’s way to SEMA, and will be featured prominently in the Factory Five outdoor display accompanied by customer Dale Anthony’s stunning blue Mk4, Al Toon’s race red Type 65 Coupe, and our newly-built vintage themed 427-powered Mk4 Half Mobile. We’ll bring you more details from the show!

The 52XS Aluminator-powered Anniversary Mk4 left the shop freshly built and headed to SEMA 2019!

Mk4 Customers Chris and Wendy D. Visit Factory Five

It was a pleasure to host Mk4 Chris and Wendy D. from Navarre. FL at Factory Five this week! Chris built a Mk4 Roadster the other year, and was also featured in Coastal Lifestyle Magazine. Westley B. Graduates his Type 65 Coupe Build!

Congratulations to Factory Five customer Westley B. from Virginia on graduating his Gen 3 Type 65 Coupe build! Westley received his Coupe kit in late Summer 2024, and said it was a fun journey. Westley installed a Scott Shafiroff 427ci small block Ford in his Type 65 Coupe along with options like hydraulic clutch, IRS, power steering, GPS vintage gauges, low back race vintage race seats, powder coated frame, Wilwood brakes, wipers, A/C-heater, side windows, front and rear sway bars, floormats, seat track, and polished side view mirror. Donny N. Builds Two Factory Fives

In 2020, customer Donny N. from Georgia started his Factory Five Mk4 Roadster build with his wife and kids. 4 years and 3 months later, they started work on their next Factory Five project, a Type 65 Coupe! “My first build was a MK4 Roadster powered by a Coyote Gen 2 with a TKO600, IRS, and Wilwood brakes,” wrote Donny N. “This time, I built a Type 65 Coupe with a Gen 3 Coyote, T56 transmission, IRS, and Wilwood brakes.” Check out this reel of Donny’s two Factory Five builds with his family.
