Michael A.’s New Year Coupe Pick-up!

Michael A. and his wife, Jennifer, drove up from Texas today to pick up their Factory Five Type 65 Coupe kit—what an amazing way to kick off the new year! Their trip took a brief detour in Tennessee when their truck’s supercharger needed a part, but they lucked out and found exactly what they needed at a nearby O’Reilly’s.

The coupe will be a fantastic addition to Michael’s collection, which already includes a vintage Ford ’34 Hot Rod Truck. He plans to take the coupe to COTA and paint it blue. He’s still deciding between a TKX or T56 transmission, but he’s looking forward to making those decisions as he begins his build.

The next step? Completing their new garage, which will be the perfect space for the project. We can’t wait to see how it all comes together and wish them safe travels back to Texas!

Paul H. and his Mk4 Earn 2nd Place at Spokane Speed!

Customer Paul H. from Spokane, WA took home 2nd Place in the Handbuilt Sports Car Class at this year’s Spokane Speed and Custom Car Show! Paul purchased his Mk4 Roadster (chassis #9847) in June 2020, and built the car with his son after attending the Factory Five Build School at Mott Community College. They built the Mk4 with a 5.0 Coyote from a 2013 F150, Trememc 2650, IRS, 17″ Halibrand wheels, vinyl dash with glovebox, leather seats, and vintage gauges. Mk4 Customers Chris and Wendy D. Visit Factory Five

It was a pleasure to host Mk4 Chris and Wendy D. from Navarre. FL at Factory Five this week! Chris built a Mk4 Roadster the other year, and was also featured in Coastal Lifestyle Magazine. Westley B. Graduates his Type 65 Coupe Build!

Congratulations to Factory Five customer Westley B. from Virginia on graduating his Gen 3 Type 65 Coupe build! Westley received his Coupe kit in late Summer 2024, and said it was a fun journey. Westley installed a Scott Shafiroff 427ci small block Ford in his Type 65 Coupe along with options like hydraulic clutch, IRS, power steering, GPS vintage gauges, low back race vintage race seats, powder coated frame, Wilwood brakes, wipers, A/C-heater, side windows, front and rear sway bars, floormats, seat track, and polished side view mirror.
