19 Years of Beating Cystic Fibrosis! Help Jenny Stay Strong!

Many of you are aware that my daughter Jennifer was born with Cystic Fibrosis, and has been fighting this disease successfully since 1998. This year, her older sister Nicole is running the Boston Marathon in order to raise money for the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation on behalf of Jenny. Jenny graduated from high school last year, and is a freshman at St. Anselm’s College in Manchester, NH.

Nicole Smith graduated from Babson College in 2017, and is working at Vertex Pharmaceuticals, the company that makes a life saving CF medicine that Jenny is currently taking. This will be Nicole’s first marathon. She was a 4-year varsity field hockey player at Babson College.

Charles M. is Show Favorite with ’33 Hot Rod

Charles M. from Lakeland, FL purchased a built Factory Five ’33 Hot Rod in February 2026. This Hot Rod was built by a company in California that builds cars for movies and TV shows. It was sold at auction with the proceeds being donated to a charity. The auction winner then sold the car to Charles with 594 miles on it. Charles brought the Hot Rod to the 21st Annual Bay Life Car Show the other week which saw 675 cars attend. Congratulations to Brion G. and Dark Horse Racing on earning a 2nd place finish with their Factory Five Type 65 Coupe-R in the GT class in the Trans Am Championship this past weekend.
