Canadian Customer Ed Konda Builds Another Stunning GTM

Factory Five customer Ed Konda from Ontario, Canada has built three GTMs in the past three years and each one seems to set the bar a bit higher. Ed’s most recent Gen 2 GTM is a real traffic stopper.

This GTM was built as a driver for his customer Mary G. of Ontario, Canada. What a cool vision seeing this sinister car pull up next to you at a stop light with a woman behind the wheel! Factory Five’s favorite car-chick Karen Salvaggio is smiling somewhere I’m sure.

This Gen 2 GTM is built with a GM LS6 engine mated to a 5 speed transmission. It is painted flat black with carbon fiber highlights and BBS rims and street tires.

Paul H. and his Mk4 Earn 2nd Place at Spokane Speed!

Customer Paul H. from Spokane, WA took home 2nd Place in the Handbuilt Sports Car Class at this year’s Spokane Speed and Custom Car Show! Paul purchased his Mk4 Roadster (chassis #9847) in June 2020, and built the car with his son after attending the Factory Five Build School at Mott Community College. They built the Mk4 with a 5.0 Coyote from a 2013 F150, Trememc 2650, IRS, 17″ Halibrand wheels, vinyl dash with glovebox, leather seats, and vintage gauges. Mk4 Customers Chris and Wendy D. Visit Factory Five

It was a pleasure to host Mk4 Chris and Wendy D. from Navarre. FL at Factory Five this week! Chris built a Mk4 Roadster the other year, and was also featured in Coastal Lifestyle Magazine. Westley B. Graduates his Type 65 Coupe Build!

Congratulations to Factory Five customer Westley B. from Virginia on graduating his Gen 3 Type 65 Coupe build! Westley received his Coupe kit in late Summer 2024, and said it was a fun journey. Westley installed a Scott Shafiroff 427ci small block Ford in his Type 65 Coupe along with options like hydraulic clutch, IRS, power steering, GPS vintage gauges, low back race vintage race seats, powder coated frame, Wilwood brakes, wipers, A/C-heater, side windows, front and rear sway bars, floormats, seat track, and polished side view mirror.
