Congratulations to Larry Webster, New Editor-in-Chief at Road & Track

On behalf of everyone at Factory Five Racing, I’d like to extend our congratulations to Larry Webster as he assumes the responsibilities of Editor-in-Chief at Road & Track Magazine.

I met Larry twelve years again when he tested the then-new Factory Five Spec Racer and Type 65 Coupe for Car & Driver Magazine. I came to know Larry as a very competent engineer, and accomplished driver, and a good writer. After a long career at Car & Driver and numerous Factory Five features, Larry went on to Popular Mechanics Magazine where he brought car guy expertise to their automotive writing.

This month, Larry’s introduction to Road & Track Magazine readers is through his column, “Turn One.” It’s not too common that I buy a magazine for just ONE writer. Road & Track’s a good car magazine and now I have one more reason to reach for it on the rack!

The Bostrom’s Mk4 Shines at First Car Show!

“This is a lifetime dream come true for me!” John exclaims as he shares the news of graduating Mk4 Roadster build and attending his first car show with the completed car earlier this month. Jim and Cecily T. Graduate Their Mk4 Roadster!

Congratulations to Jim. and Cecily T. from Heathsville, VA on graduating their Factory Five Mk4 Roadster build! They received their kit in April 2024. “I was in no rush since I planned on enjoying the build just as much as cruising in it.,” said Jim. “Goes back to my old drag racing days in the 70’s.
