2012 Snap-on Calendar and Newspaper Article

I got this cool package in the mail with a copy of the 2012 Snap-on calendar from customer Jim Clark. Among the many featured cars is his beautiful red and grey Mk3 Roadster. Almost as good is the accompanying newspaper article from his local newspaper which details his build experience and story with his wife Lori, who actually bought the kit for Jim for his birthday as a surprise. We all remembered the order and were excited to see the finished product.

I met Jim at the London C-car Show and again at this summer’s Open House. Great job, Jim! I’m sure a lot of car guys are jealous of your wife Lori and her cool birthday present for you! Congrats also on the calendar. We’re all proud of you.

Mark S. Graduates His Mk4 & Scores Magazine Cover!

Congratulations to customer Mark S. on graduating his Mk4 Roadster build! Mark came for a tour of Factory Five in March 2020 to meet Dave Smith and the team. After returning home to the United Kingdom, Mark ordered his Mk4, and it arrived at his garage in February 2021. Marks good friend, neighbor, and fellow car enthusiast, Stuart H, helpedwith the build which featured a Gen 3 5.0L Coyote, Tremec TKO transmission, 8.8″ solid axle with 3-link rear suspension, 18″ Halibrand wheels, and of course, it had to be in right hand drive. I made the call to scrub FFR operations for the day. The drive in wasn’t bad, and most roads are clear.
