Join Us In Utah at the SKJ Customs Open House

Scott, a.k.a Honey Badger, will be bringing the Factory Five ’33 that was featured on MuscleCar TV.

Join us this weekend, Saturday December 8th, from 10 am to 2 pm in St. George, Utah at the headquarters of SKJ Customs for a fun Open House event. The guys at SKJ are providing refreshments and there will be a HUGE variety of show cars and custom Factory Fives.

The Factory Five big rig will be showing up with some notable cars. Check out the latest Mk4 Roadster built for the President of Summit Racing with new Sherwin Williams-Factory Five paint. Also, check out the 5.0L Coyote powered demo car owned by FFR President Dave Smith. Lastly, another great car that will be on display is the national winning GoodGuys Autocross Championship car owned by the boys at Ridetech.

You’ll also have the chance to meet the team from SKJ and see Factory Five vehicles in the different stages of assembly. Factory Five President Dave Smith will be on hand to answer questions and do some donuts in the parking lot.

It was a pleasure to host Mk4 Chris and Wendy D. from Navarre. FL at Factory Five this week! Chris built a Mk4 Roadster the other year, and was also featured in Coastal Lifestyle Magazine. Westley B. Graduates his Type 65 Coupe Build!

Congratulations to Factory Five customer Westley B. from Virginia on graduating his Gen 3 Type 65 Coupe build! Westley received his Coupe kit in late Summer 2024, and said it was a fun journey. Westley installed a Scott Shafiroff 427ci small block Ford in his Type 65 Coupe along with options like hydraulic clutch, IRS, power steering, GPS vintage gauges, low back race vintage race seats, powder coated frame, Wilwood brakes, wipers, A/C-heater, side windows, front and rear sway bars, floormats, seat track, and polished side view mirror. Donny N. Builds Two Factory Fives

In 2020, customer Donny N. from Georgia started his Factory Five Mk4 Roadster build with his wife and kids. 4 years and 3 months later, they started work on their next Factory Five project, a Type 65 Coupe! “My first build was a MK4 Roadster powered by a Coyote Gen 2 with a TKO600, IRS, and Wilwood brakes,” wrote Donny N. “This time, I built a Type 65 Coupe with a Gen 3 Coyote, T56 transmission, IRS, and Wilwood brakes.” Check out this reel of Donny’s two Factory Five builds with his family.
